One the Seven Wonders of the World Taj Mahal is located in the city of Agra, State of Uttar Pradesh, India. Once the capital of the Mughal Empire during the 16th and early 18th centuries, Agra is an ancient and beautiful city. It took twenty thousand people and only eleven years to complete this magnificent temple of love during 1632-1643. The architect of the Taj Mahal was Ustad Ahmad. Colliseum, Italy, is one of Rome's most recognizable symbols. It took 10 years to build during the reign of Emperor Vespasiano in the year of 80 before Christ. Built with one purpose in mind as a place for public entertainment, it hosted such dramatic events as gladiator fights, mock naval battles and exotic animal combats. Many people have seen their deaths in that place. The Great Wall of China also known as the Great Wall of 10,000 Li was built during Ming Dynasty in 16th century from 1368 to 1644 in order to protect China against the Mongol invasion. It was preceded by several walls built since the 3rd century BC against the raids of nomadic tribes coming from modern day Mongolia The Wall stretches over 6,700 km
